Sunday Worship - 29 March 2020

( podcast available from 11 a.m.)

Sunday Worship is cancelled until further notice.

Each Sunday a podcast will be available from 11 a.m.

A shorter service will be recorded.  There will be prayers, a sermon, an anthem and hymns from previous podcasts. This will allow a service to be podcast each week.

We are conscious that not everyone is on the web or Facebook but it’s the best we can do at the moment. Going forward we will see if we can provide other means to listen.

Gary would like to thank the people from the Kirk and community who have been in touch and offered to help where possible. It is heartening to see the whole community coming together in such extraordinary times.

We are looking at how we can provide support for all the people who are on their own and isolated...how we can help with delivery of food, prescriptions, online shopping, and how we can support the Foodbank (click on the Foodbank icon at the top of this page for details).

Please look out for each other and check with the vulnerable and isolated by telephone.

All hall lets for the West Halls & Killellan Halls are cancelled until further notice.

We extend to you a warm and personal welcome from the people of Houston & Killellan Kirk, the parish church of the Church of Scotland in Houston, Renfrewshire, Scotland.

We are a congregation of all ages and stages who believe the church is made up of people and that relationships should be at the heart of everything we do. Our aim, as God's people in this place, is to serve the Lord Jesus Christ, to make his name and love known as widely as possible and to seek to serve the community in which God has placed us.

We seek to give a sincere welcome to all who come to worship with us, whether regulars, first-timers or visitors. Our aim is to provide an atmosphere where people feel comfortable and relaxed in their worship and our hope is that everyone will feel welcome and be enriched and encouraged by their time with us. If you are in Houston on a Sunday we would be delighted to see you. If you live nearby, we encourage you to visit us and learn more about life in this church.

We hope you will enjoy exploring our website and, if you have any questions, please contact us by coming along to one of our services or by telephone or e-mail.
