Christian Aid Week May 14-20

Christian Aid Week: 14-20 May 2023

Soaring costs are affecting people here and around the world, and families in countries like Malawi are paying the price of this global crisis too. The cost of their food, fuel, fertiliser and school fees have doubled in the last year, and their harvests are failing as the climate crisis brings increasingly erratic weather.

Your gifts this Christian Aid Week could help farmers in Malawi plant better seeds, secure a fairer price for their crops, and build happier futures for their children.

Please look out for our team of door-to-door collection volunteers, or download the digital envelope below to donate.

With every gift, every action, every prayer, every one of us can change lives.

Thank you.

Christian Aid works with local partners and communities to fight injustice, respond to humanitarian emergencies, campaign for change, and help people claim the services and rights they are entitled to.

The charity helps with water conservation projects, supplies drought tolerant seeds and helps communities develop small scale irrigation projects. It helps individuals and communities to help themselves, and it offers help to those of all faiths and none.

CAN YOU HELP US?

As always, we will be doing door-to-door collections during Christian Aid Week, but we need a few more helpers this year.

Could you give a few hours of your time during that week to deliver envelopes to 20 to 30 houses and go back and collect them? Maybe you could share the run with a friend?

If you feel you can help, please contact Caroline on 07711 348423.
